Membership & dues

Members fund the organizing. Nobody is charged to learn their rights.

Every safety page, playbook, court-date triage and referral is free and needs no account. Dues pay for organizers, review and the software behind the case desk.

Billing is not switched on yet. These are proposed pilot prices, not an approved price list, and the Virginia launch is running free while counsel reviews the dues, waiver and charitable-donation language. Nothing about your case, your deadlines, or your access to safety information depends on paying.

Building dues can be pooled or per member. A building can collect one pooled payment, ask each household for a chosen amount, or a mix, and the organizer picks the model when the union is verified.

An incident pass is best-effort. It buys software, structure and reminders for one case, never a promise of an outcome, an attorney, or representation. It stays bound to that case and cannot be moved to another.

Sponsored and waived seats exist. If cost is the barrier, say so on the form and a coordinator will place you at no charge. Assistance is never withheld because someone cannot pay.

Membership fees are not charitable donations and are not deductible as such. Tenant Nexus is a membership and organizing network, not a law firm, a labor union, or legal insurance.
